In current research results, six different collagen types have been identified and analysed so far.
The most important collagen types are collagens I and III. Collagen III determines the positive appearance of the skin. Collagen III has the task of forming an even network, which is filled up with collagen I.

As the collagen III content of the skin decreases with age, unspecific cross-linking of collagen I occurs - the true cause of declining skin firmness. The consequences are wrinkles and furrows in the skin. With CS III, a high-tech active ingredient, ASC III, is now available that has been proven to accelerate the regeneration of the protein collagen III. As a result, collagen I can once again be evenly distributed in the skin. As a result, wrinkles and uneven skin texture can be reduced. The skin appears smoother and more supple, the contours firmer and tighter.
